The Challenge
Public parks should be a shared source of pride, but upkeep and investment have not always been distributed fairly. Some families enjoy beautiful, well-maintained spaces while others are left with parks that feel neglected or unsafe.
Michael's Approach
Michael will work to make all Wayne County parks safe, welcoming, updated, and family-friendly.
The Evans administration will seek to invest in communities equitably, so park quality does not depend on which neighborhood a family lives in.
The campaign proposes improving park upkeep and supporting the renovation and restoration of public spaces across the county.
Michael will prioritize ensuring families across Wayne County can enjoy quality, well-maintained public spaces.
